7th month.

random stuff: everyone's getting superstitious this month. the opening of the hell gates.

i didn't realise that today's the 1st day of the 7th month on the lunar calendar until kenny told me just now! no wonder so many peeps are burning joss papers and praying to god. it's the opening of hell gates, also known as hungry ghost festival. and i found that today's rather unusual somehow or rather.

• when i was on my way to school on svc 852, the bus driver wasn't paying much attention when driving and the bus NEARLY turned into the expressway towards jurong. woah. if it really did i guessed those hci/nj/nygh peeps will confront him (40% of the passengers on board are students).

• while taking 157 to school, i saw one DD in front (sv 174) trying to crawl off from the 1st lane to the 3rd lane so as to turn into jurong road. however, the bus seemed to be stalled while turning and it took the driver 10 seconds just to restart the engine. these 10 seconds caused obstruction of bt batok road because the bus occupied the 3 lanes -.-

• somehow or rather, i have spent $12 in total for today =\ didn't know why, except that i spent $5 on katong laksa today when eating with kenny.
• vic's acting strange today. he refused to pick up the 10 plus calls that i gave him. and some mysterious gal called me to play a prank on me and i gave a double shot back when kris helped me to scare her off. heh. hope she got terrified! she deserves it!
