forgive and forget

just got back home, after having my dinner with vic @ suntec. apparently both of us are spamming profanities at each other. lol. what a way to de-stress man.

this morning's speech is something that makes some sort of sense though it's mostly propaganda. let me start with the side dish first before having the main course. one csl was sacked from being a leader because of some "integrity problems". this was what happened...

before the meeting started, she walked in a direction away from the hall (where the venue of meeting is) and she was clad in leaders tee. she was approached by some sc and asked to go up for meeting. however, she came up with an excuse that she isnt a leader and what she wore was merely a shirt borrowed from a friend. (and apparently leow overheard this and looked at the girl)

then when leow got to the hall, he identified that girl in the hall surprisingly and screamed at her, asking her why she still turned up though she wasnt a leader. and she finally owned up and replied that she was a csl (aka community service LEADER). wth? isnt a csl also a leader? and leow used sarcastic remarks on her and sacked her from being a leader. and i guessed it's due to the blogging incident that caused leow to start sacking people who cant put up a hypocritical show in front of the school.

ok end of side dish. now getting back to the main topic. didnt realise that p's mummy just passed away yesterday afternoon at around 4 plus. and leow tried to tell all leaders how p's usual routine was like for the past few months. he had to send his mum to hospital back and fro and also ensured that his mum was well taken care of because she suffered from multiple organ failure and also the fact that her skin could easily peeled off even with a gentle scratch. despite the fact that his mum was in a critical condition, p still came down to school just to settle the stuff in school and in the afternoon, he would take his time off just to take care of his mum. now i realised why he interpreted stuff which had caused a lot of misunderstandings every morning. and leow tried to ask peeps to volunteer to usher at the wake.

however, i felt that there's discrimination against some peeps such as ys. till now, the pd dept people are still pissed with what ys has done. and quite a lot of leaders still disliked him. i think that he should be given a chance. everyone is imperfect, and mistakes are being committed consistently by humans. come on, dont tell me that teachers are perfect people who dont make any mistakes in life? and since p is already willing to let bygones be bygones, why not just let this matter off, and please dont show any prejudice against ys. he's only a 17 year old and i guessed he has learnt his lesson already. and so what if a reputation is tarnished, it can be built back isnt it? it's just a matter of time that matters, and who knows? ys may just be contributing to the school except that it's just a blessing in disguise. the only reason why he doesnt want to go to the wake isnt because he is scared of p, but it's because of the fact that he is being prejudiced and condemned by some of the leaders and teachers. if this kind of prejudice and discrimination carries on, i do not see a point in improving the school culture since there's internal stifle within the school.

just forgive and forget, but learn from our mistakes. that's the most crucial thing to make improvements in life.
