"do not insult your college!"
just now's soccer match wasn't a great match afterall. sadly to say, our college students failed to behave once again. there goes...
1st half of the match, both sides played well and there wasn't any much to compare. the score was 0-0. both sides have wasted chances that would have helped them take the lead.
2nd half was a nightmare though. around the 65th minute, one goal was scored by rj. a few minutes later, rj scored once again and 3rd time again within the next few minutes. jj down 0-3. it was so bad that players were all demoralised. sigh. and then that came jj's chance to score. apparently someone missed the chance and let rj take control of the ball and within 10 seconds, rj had actually made it 4-0. omg. that was so astonishing. then those j1 fans all jeered at their own college players. it's like wtf, can they play as well as the players on the pitch? if you all are good enough just go play la. wtf.
and suddenly shankar heard the fans shouting "jj soccer sucks". the first response he did was to turn behind his back and shout at the people "DO NOT INSULT YOUR OWN COLLEGE". seriously i have no choice but to agree with him. afterall jj is our identity. the identity will follow us throughout our lives, no matter how long we were in jj. if we insult our identity, we are simply insulting ourselves. whats wrong with the brains of the j1 fans? dont they have the intellectual to make it to jc? where are their moral values? seriously speaking, j2 batch is obviously a better batch than the j1 batch. i have no choice but to concur with what mr ng had said earlier on last week that the j1 batch is causing trouble and tarnishing the reputation of jj. we ain't like HCI, whereby a student got reported in the news for beating the bus driver when his girlfriend's ez link card got confiscated. HCI has always been a reputable school all these while, unlike jj which is just a mediocre neighbourhood school and it's not really reputable.
so... dont insult your school because you are also insulting your identity as a jjc-ian at the same time!
